jamesthomas was actively involved in every aspect of this Michigan vacation home including interior layout, finish selection, design of built-ins, landscape design, furniture, accessory and art procurement. Working closely with the builders, jamesthomas met with contractors and coordinated much of the construction process. The overall mood of this home is one of serenity and relaxation. A simple color palette of white, taupe and gray prevail. Pops of blues and greens enliven the space while still maintaining a neutral feel. Guest bedrooms are in light shades of yellow and blue to create cozy spaces appropriate for a weekend retreat. Scouring local flea markets and antique stores with the homeowners added a personal and at times rustic touch to the overall feel of the house.
